Problem with 2002 Explorer brake light?

The brake light on my truck illuminates periodically. The brake fluid is OK, and I don't notice any noises from the brakes or problems stopping. It only comes on AFTER I start to accelerate from a stop, not actually while stopped or stopping. I notice it mostly in very cold weather (<20 degrees). Any ideas?
