Should I use Alouette as a name?

I am certainly no expert, but my family is deeply involved in an online fantasy game and have dozens of characters with clever (and sometimes not-so-clever) names. So I have heard many of these names. My personal preference is that Alouette is a very pretty, and apparently appropriate, name for your fantasy character. Just my opinion.
