Do i suck at skateboarding?

my ex was into sckate boarding and he was better than all the other pple i know and i know like all the pple our age in the city (small town) and he would be impressed with all thatt in only one month. you do not suck. just keep practicing and try olying over stuff (not to high) and on and off side walks and jumps and stuff like that and before you know it you will be impressing pple with ur skills.
