How did the black race become the most intriguing?

People spend so much time wondering about our lifestyle...how we eat, why we dress the way we do, eat chicken...why are people so intrigued? Sometimes I be cautious to talk about chicken out loud around some people, I don't wanna become another chicken loving statistic.
