Where is Vanessa on Gossip Girl (TV series)?

Oh my gosh, I am very excited for Gossip Girl (the series on the CW) because I have read all of the books. I was already kind of upset because none of the characters look like they are suppose to (except Serena)!! But then I noticed...where is Vanessa?? (the "bald" film maker) OMG!! if they don't put her in there, it would ruin everything!!! What's going on??
